Erin Andrews Gatorade Shower: ESPN Reporter, Baylor SID Get Soaked With Robert Griffin III (VIDEO)

Erin Andrews Gets Gatorade Bath After Baylor Upset

ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews is accustomed to being showered with cheers -- and the occasional catcall -- as she covers high-profile college football games. She's also accustomed to navigating the on-field frenzy immediately following a game, surely one of the more difficult aspects of being a sideline reporter.

Nevertheless, Andrews found herself in an unexpected, brand-new situation after Baylor upset Oklahoma on Saturday night.

She received her first Gatorade bath.

No, Andrews had not tossed a game-winning touchdown in the waning moments of regulation play. But, she was attempting to interview the young man who had done just that. As Andrews corralled Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III on the field, someone came over and attempted to shower the Bears' hero with energy drink. Showing he is elusive in all facets of the game -- including post -- Griffin stayed dry while Andrews and Baylor's Sports Information Director got bathed in electric blue.

On her own YouTube channel, Andrews described the scene as "My Gatorade Bath" and shared a video of the aftermath.
