I firmly believe this. I believe that we choose to incarnate into a particular being, a lifetime, an experience, in order to fulfil our soul's journey and learn the lessons that our destiny has in store for us. So that being said, after making the choice to come here in this lifetime, ultimately everything following that choice is a choice, is it not?

When we look at life in this way, we have no option but than to take full responsibility for every action and then face the consequence (s) of every reaction. We are fully present in every moment and we understand the concept of input and output, ebb and flow, as above, so below.

How is it then, that so many seem to get so lost in this life? In this world? On this journey? Is it only when one is lost, that they can stop to recognise that they are? Is this their prompt to be found again? In order for one to recognise that they are lost, they must first develop a level of awareness, or else they would continue to drift aimlessly and asleep would they not?

Without awareness, we drift, from moment to moment, experience to experience and so on and so on, but we do not even realise that we are doing so, we are on auto pilot. So many hamsters on the wheel exist in this world, many are there for a purpose, to get to the next space, many are there and they do not even realise.

Getting back to choice; if one has chosen to incarnate into a being that goes through an entire lifetime being asleep, is this also a choice? Is their soul not ready to awaken? Will they ever awaken? Or is there a higher purpose for them again. This world we have built requires there to be a certain number of hamsters on the wheel in order to keep it spinning so that the few who realise this is going on can enjoy the fruits of their own labours and hopefully some for the masses, in order for more to awaken.

Sadly, this can go either way and it could be said that a flaw in human nature is to sniff out weakness and exploit it, so often this occurs, but alas this is not a new trait, perhaps we just hear about it more these days via unfiltered mediums on the internet, which are merely the extension of peoples thoughts and brains. This flaw in human nature also dates back to a more primal survival instinct, which, in 2015, do we really need?

So, following on from my piece last week, You Are The Variable, what's it going to be? Are you going to recognise that the goings on in your life are the direct result of choices you've made, either on a conscious or unconscious level? Or are you going to continue to blame others, the world, your fourth grade teacher, and your parents? If you enjoy spending copious amounts of time in your life going over situations in your head that have been and gone, so as such, no longer exist, please continue to do so.

But if you're feeling tired, are constantly angry at the world and find yourself in conversations about conversations while talking about talking, just remember, that's also your choice to live that life, or you can choose to change.
