“I Just Feel Like We Need To Stand In Love. We Need To Walk In Love. We Need To Fight For Love- With Love”-LeAnn Rimes

Those words from an Human Rights Campaign that LeAnn Rimes gave kick off the video to her latest single “LovE Is LovE Is LovE”. Headlining Pride events in Denver, Houston and New York City, Rimes released this video (exclusively to The Huffington Post) in honor of Pride month. Following my interview with recently, this is a true love letter to the LGBT community and for anyone who wants to be accepted or has felt judged. The single is already debuting in the Top 25 on the Billboard Dance Charts. Remixes coming from the Grammy winning and frequent Rimes collaborator Dave Aude will release on digital platforms on Friday June 16th.

Longtime producer and fellow songwriter Darrel Brown joined Rimes, Toby Gad and Lindy Robbins to craft an anthem, with a message of acceptance, with an intention to bring healing and acceptance through love.

Visually, Rimes reached out to her friend Benji Schwimmer of “So You Think You Can Dance” fame, and gave him the creative freedom to both interpret and communicate the message of acceptance through dance. He assembled both dancers and a production team from all walks of life; varying religious beliefs, sexual orientation and race, creating an organic display of unity in support of PRIDE! All aspects of the LGBT community were represented, as well as a myriad of religions; from Mormon to Christian to Buddhist to Atheist; everyone is simply having the ability to be united by the powerful message of Rimes’ song. Schwimmer says “the expressions and movements of the dancers were just too honest to contrive. The song and LeAnn’s performance embodies the universal, undying, non-segregated power of love”.

During my recent conversation with Rimes, we discussed love and spirituality at length. As she said, “In choosing LovE, we choose to see past the actions and limitations of our humanness and recognize our oneness as spirit. The world needs LovErs”.
