Fergie On Preparing For Motherhood: 'I Have No Idea What I'm Doing!'

Josh Duhamel recently revealed that he's been trying to communicate with his first child with wife Fergie from beyond the womb. "I’ve had full conversations with the baby already,” Duhamel told People.

And on Thursday's episode of "Good Morning America," the "Fergalicious" singer opened up about how she's preparing for parenthood.

"I've been doing acupuncture, which really helps with that [morning sickness], and Chinese herbs," Fergie, 37, said. But she's not stressing too much.

"I have no idea what I'm doing!" she said. "I'm just going to play it by ear and see how things go, and let the natural instincts kick in."

She also laughed about Duhamel's description of her reaction when the couple received their big baby news.

"I know that my husband told everybody what I said, my quote when we found out, 'This [blank] just got real," she said during the "GMA" interview. "It's true when that moment occurs to you that, yeah, there's going to be a human being growing inside of you. It's reality. It's amazing."

Fergie announced that she and Duhamel were expecting via Twitter Feb. 18, telling fans, "Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump" as Duhamel tweeted a similar message.

The couple married in January 2009 after dating for four years. In September, they discussed their plans to start a family with Rachael Ray. "We do hope for children and that will be coming up, but it's not yet," Fergie said.
