Frank Chiafari Music: Officer Who Shot Travis The Chimp Suffering From PTSD, Sings Sad Songs (VIDEO)

Earlier this week it came to light that Frank Chiafari, the officer who shot down Travis the chimp, had been denied workers' compensation for post-traumatic stress disorder because Connecticut state law only applies to police shootings of people.

Regardless, the 25-year veteran is still very clearly haunted by the incident. Chiafari has suffered anxiety, flashbacks, nightmares, and mood swings since he was forced to kill the crazed animal.

As it turns out, while a state senator has taken up his cause and proposed a law to cover animal shootings as well, Chiafari has found an outlet for his pain: music.
