Who said catty and immature vindictiveness gets left behind when people graduate high school? Cassandra proved that even college teachers can be needlessly cruel on the latest episode of "Glee." She encouraged Rachel to head back to Lima to see the McKinely High production of "Grease," but she clearly had motives of her own. In the same moment, she invited Brody to be her T.A.
Knowing that Rachel had feelings for Brody, Cassandra took advantage of Rachel being away to make her move. And it worked. Even better -- for her at least -- she was there to pick up his phone when an emotionally vulnerable Rachel called. She then proudly presented how she'd slept with Brody as if this was a life lesson that was going to help Rachel grow, when really it was about lashing out because of her own bruised ego. Rachel had dared to suggest Cassandra try out for a production that Rachel was going for.
High school cruelty was on full display as well -- and perhaps even worse than what Cassandra was doing. Once again, jealousy was at the root of it. Kitty started restitching Marley's Sandy costume so that it wouldn't fit. Then, because Marley's mother is the obese school lunch lady, Kitty preyed on Marley's fears that she will gain weight as well. She even encouraged her to start vomiting to lose weight.
