'Glued': Mom Loses It Over Son's Obsession With Video Games In Animated Short Film

WATCH: Mom Loses It Over Son's Obsession With Video Games

Bedtime isn't the only time when parents feel like they're playing Whack-A-Mole.

In this new short film, "Glued," produced by four animation students at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Israel, a mom takes a video game away from her young son only to find him playing another one. When she says no to that one and shows him how beautiful it is outside, he manages to find another. And then another.

"We all share a great passion for video games and have fond childhood memories with them," the students told the Huffington Post in an email. "We felt that a cartoon about video games from the parent's point of view would be a fun way to address the generation gap -- a subject which many parents can probably relate to."

The way this particular mom handles her frustration might be extreme (and yes, kind of dark), but the short aptly captures concerns of parents raising kids in the digital age. Watch it here and let us know what you think in the comments.
