Google Phone To Hit Stores in Spring: MediaBytes with Shelly Palmer December 14, 2009

This weekend rumors of Google's self branded phone were confirmed as pictures of the handset leaked on Twitter. The Nexus One, as its called, will reportedly be available to consumers next year. Google claims that the phone will be sold without an exclusive wireless provider, giving consumers the ability to choose which network they'd like to run the Nexus One on.

Mercedes-Benz announced that it will bring a fuel cell powered car to market in the coming Spring. Mercedes, who has been influential in the growth and practical use of fuel cell technology, said that the green fuel would power its B-Class model in both Europe and America. The automobile manufacturer says that the B-Class F-Cell will be the "first electric car fully suited for everyday driving and with the driving dynamics of a two-liter petrol car."

While Nokia is faltering in its mobile phone business, the company's netbook business received a boost after the price of its Booklet 3G was dropped. The Nokia netbook, which previously retailed for $299, is now available for $199 with a two-year mobile contract from AT&T at Best Buy. The Booklet 3G is one of the most reliable, most reasonably priced netbooks available with a data plan.
