Sometimes it's just way too hard to adult.
And these quirky sticky notes are here to flawlessly illustrate that difficult reality of growing up.
Charles Hutton draws simple yet brilliant graphs, charts and cartoons on yellow sticky notes that show the silly little thoughts and observations we all have while navigating adulthood.
Hutton told The Huffington Post that he's created more than 70 of these whimsical illustrations. The notes have tickled the minds of Redditors, with a few of them receiving upwards of 4,000 upvotes on the site.
Hutton appreciates the atttention.
"It was exciting, although mainly due to the fact that I realized there [are] a lot of people struggling with day-to-day life stuff just as much as I do -- which is certainly reassuring," he said of his notes going viral.
The notes include humorous commentary on topics like our ever-depleting phone battery life and the never-ending search for something to watch on TV.
As for Hutton's really nice handwriting? He explained it's because he studied architecture for years.
The illustrator usually does a drawing a day. When asked if he has some ideas for his next one, he responded in true grown-up fashion:
"[I] should probably get on that. Or maybe I’ll just procrastinate instead. Or maybe I’ll do a post about procrastinating. Nah, I’ll just procrastinate."
