Hillary Clinton Reacts To Reports Of Muammar Gaddafi Capture, Death (VIDEO)

Hillary Clinton's Surprise Reaction To Gaddafi News

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appeared surprised Thursday upon receiving "unconfirmed" reports of ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's capture.

Clinton was in Kabul, Afghanistan, preparing for interviews when an aide, reportedly Huma Abedin, wife of former Congressman Anthony Weiner, passed her a BlackBerry, apparently conveying the latest report out of Sirte, Libya, where rebels were claiming to have captured and killed Gaddafi.

"Wow," Clinton said. "Unconfirmed reports about Gaddafi being captured."

Passing the BlackBerry back, Clinton cautioned those around her to take the reports with a grain of salt.

"We’ve had a bunch of those before," Clinton continued. "We have 'had him captured' a couple of times."
