Compared to those who stick to the same rotation of familiar foods, adventurous eaters -- people who are open to trying and enjoying a wide variety of uncommon foods (think kimchi, polenta and seitan)--are more physically active and weigh less, according to a Cornell food and brand lab study published in the journal Obesity.
