Hulk Hogan and Cyndi Lauper Are An Unlikely Pair At The 1985 Grammys (PHOTO)

Talk about unlikely BFFs.

Hulk Hogan and Cyndi Lauper are both big stars in their own right. Lauper taught us that "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" with her chart topping hits, while Hogan wrestled his way to the top. Although this duo may seem like an unlikely pair, both have strong personalities and even stronger senses of style.

Twenty eight years ago today (on Feb. 26), Hulk and Lauper enjoyed a tender moment at the Grammy Awards (sporting some serious '80s fashion). He squeezed into patent leather pants and cowboy boots, and she donned a kimono-style dress and very bold makeup. Though we might not be ripping a page directly out of their style books today, Lauper's look has all the bones of a great ensemble. The printed dress is a refreshing change from the classic LBD and we love her stacked bangles. To modernize this outfit, we would shorten the hemline and add a pair of opaque tights (as well as ditch the bright orange hair). Would you be brave enough to wear an '80s-inspired look?
