"I broke my foot really badly in a fall off the balance beam, and I couldn't do any of the gymnastics stuff for several months. More often you hear in dance world, "Don't make enemies because the dance world is small." I think that just fuels this idea of transactional relationships. "I'll be nice to you because I never know when you're going to call me for a gig."
