Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay tends to be outspoken regardless of the medium.

Whether it's Twitter or interviews, Irsay speaks his mind in a blunt-spoken way.

Via his Twitter account today, Irsay issued an apology for the Colts' lackluster performance during a 44-20 defeat to the Buffalo Bills where they allowed 451 yards of total offense and gave up two returns for scores.

"Many starters played briefly or were nursing little injuries, but it was a crap performance,my apologies," Irsay wrote. "My commanders got n earful from me!"
