offers 10, 15 and 19 day long cruises to the Panama Canal from September through February and during the month of April, with departures from Vancouver, Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Seven-day cruises to Alaska are offered May through September, with departures from Vancouver and Anchorage.

The Island Princess was featured in the "Love Boat" TV series. The ship is geared towards upper-class families and couples, with a passenger capacity of 1,970.
Special Features
The Island Princess features an art gallery, miniature golf, four pools, a sports court, a spa, show lounges, a casino and activities for children. The ship also hosts a series of educational lectures.
Accommodations
Accommodations on the Island Princess include inside and outside double rooms, mini suites and standard suites. Private balconies are included with outside doubles, mini suites and standard suites.
Cost
Prices on the Island Princess range from about $900 for the Panama Canal trip, to $2,300 for an Alaskan cruise. Prices are per person and vary depending on cabin and length of voyage.

Dining Experience

The Island Princess' maiden voyage occurred in 2003. This cruise ship has always been a passenger ship.
