Here's What Happened When This Trans Man Invited Park Goers To Ask Him Anything

"Are you attracted to men or women or both?"

Amid the recent craziness in North Carolina over a bathroom law, which prohibits trans people from using public restrooms that correspond with their gender identities, trans activist James Sheffield saw an opportunity to help educate people. So, he went to New York's Washington Square Park to answer any questions park goers might have for him about what it's like to be trans.

From responding to queries about hormone therapy to educating New Yorkers about businesses that have come out in support of trans rights, Sheffield has got you covered.

Of course it should never be assumed that a trans person wants to be asked about their lives and experiences but we're grateful to folks like Sheffield who are willing to open up about who they are and what they've learned in order to help others understand more about the trans community. Check it out in the video above.
