Folks online are ribbing Jared Kushner over reports that his security clearance has been downgraded.
The 37-year-old White House adviser now only has access to Secret level intelligence rather than Top Secret information, per Politico.
Unsurprisingly, Twitter users responded by imagining what this will mean for President Donald Trump’s son-in-law:
Now, by law, Jared has to stick two fingers in his ears and hum during family dinners.

Jared losing his security clearance is the drunk rich friend who has his driver's license suspended and now everyone has to drive him around.

If you have a key to your own diary, you have a higher security clearance than Jared Kushner.

You can still tell Jared Kushner your own personal secrets.

“Kushner loses access to top-secret intelligence.” Ah, that’s a relief. Now deliver him to Klytus 4 post clearance “conditioning” n’ a Level 6 precautionary Mind Wipe.🚀🤷🏼♂️

I can live with Jared losing security clearance but I can’t live with Jared losing the vest. pic.twitter.com/9ZO6HXd9bV

maybe naive but wouldn't the US plan for Mideast peace that Kushner is developing be top secret? Does that mean he can't read his own plan?
