TWEETS: New Yorkers React To Jason Kidd's Move To The Knicks

As reported earlier on Thursday, 39-year old Jason Kidd agreed to a three-year deal with the New York Knicks, a surprising pick after the Knicks came close to acquiring two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash.

New Yorkers scared that the acquisition of a point guard means the end of Linsanity can relax. For the time being, it looks like Jeremy Lin is staying in New York and will likely start. Kidd, an experienced veteran, could apparently mentor the young star. And for a team that just finished its 12th straight season without a playoff-series victory, a little playoff experience couldn't hurt. Kidd, after all, led the (now former) New Jersey Nets to the NBA finals twice in the early aughts. Last year for the Mavericks, he averaged only 6 points and 28 minutes per game.
