Jason Reitman, the man with two Best Director nominations out of four released feature films, wants to get in the Adam Sandler business. That's the news from Toronto, where Reitman is putting together an adaptation of Chad Kultgen's novel "Men, Women & Children" with the hope of casting Sandler, Rosemarie DeWitt and Jennifer Garner in lead roles. (Cameron Diaz was mentioned by TheWrap as a possibility as well.)

Published in June of 2011, "Men, Women & Children" "explores the sexual pressures of junior high school students and their parents navigating the internet’s shared landscape of pornography, blogs, social networking, and its promise of opportunities, escapes, reinvented identities, and unexpected conflicts."

According to THR, Reitman has already written the script for "Men, Women & Children" and will likely shoot the film in November. That makes the fourth quarter of 2013 even busier for the 35-year-old, as his latest film, "Labor Day," is set for release by Paramount on Dec. 25. "Labor Day" premiered at the Telluride Film Festival at the end of August and will screen at the Toronto International Film Festival over the next week. Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin star.

As if there needed to be more Reitman news, there's also this: The director will conduct another one of his popular Live Read stage productions on Friday at TIFF, this time bringing new life to Paul Thomas Anderson's "Boogie Nights." Here are some of the names Reitman has enlisted for help so far:
