Jennifer Garner proved she has the best sense of humor over the weekend when she pulled a fun little stunt on the paparazzi. While the actress and a girlfriend walked side-by-side with the paps, the 44-year-old joked that she had a new man.
“Brad and I are dating,” Garner said to a clearly surprised cameraman, who was at a loss for words.
“You’re dating Brad, uh, Pitt?” the pap said, running to keep up. Garner replied with a smile as her friend laughed. “Yeah, isn’t it great?” she said.
As Garner and her friend walked to their car, another paparazzi congratulated the actress on her relationship with the actor, who recently split from his wife of two years, Angelina Jolie. Garner replied with a thumbs up and jumped into a black Range Rover.
The “Miracles From Heaven” star and her estranged husband, Ben Affleck, called it quits after a decade of marriage in June 2015. Garner opened up about her complicated relationship with Affleck in a March 2016 Vanity Fair profile and compared it to another famous celebrity couple (including the actor she’s supposedly “dating” now).
“When Jen Aniston and Brad Pitt broke up, I was dying to see something that said they were getting back together,” the actress said.
