Jeremy Lamb Missed Dunk: UConn Guard Ends Season With Miss In NCAA Tournament Loss (VIDEO)

Not A Good Way To End The Season

This isn't the way UConn wanted to end the season. Not only did the Huskies fall short in their first game of the NCAA Tournament, losing to Iowa State 77-64, but one of the team's stars capped the loss with an embarrassing moment.

With the Huskies dutifully playing out the game until the final whistle in the waning moments, Jeremy Lamb and two other UConn players were pressuring the Cyclones. With five seconds left, Lamb stole the ball and, even though his team was down by 13, attempted to give UConn fans one last highlight for the season.

Bad idea.

Lamb went up for a windmill dunk and only got the windmill part right. The ball hit the back of the rim as he attempted to slam it down and bounced right into the hands of Iowa State's Chris Babb. That's just what NBA scouts wanted to see..
