Jerry Springer Feels Bad About Upsetting Fox News

Jerry Springer Feels Bad About Fox News Clash

Talk show legend Jerry Springer found himself in a battle worthy of his own show this week when he got into a heated argument with "Fox and Friends" co-host Gretchen Carlson. The two clashed over an article in Newsweek titled "Why Are Obama's Critics So Dumb?" Springer told Carlson that Fox News criticized Obama every day, something Carlson didn't like too much. But now, Jerry is saying he didn't mean to cause too much trouble -- he was just telling the truth.

"I feel bad about it," Jerry tells me. "Yes, the cover was biased towards Obama, but when you open the magazine and read the article it points out that both liberals and conservatives are upset."

Jerry, who admits he is a President Obama supporter, wasn't having any of Carlson's statement that she is an independent on the morning show panel, and that the show presents both sides of the story.

"I said, you are upset about the Newsweek story and we are on Fox News and you are biased," he says. "I don't mean it as a negative. MSNBC is liberal. Every single morning on that show they bash Obama but why do we deny it?"

Jerry said after the interview the producers were very upset with him, even screamed at him. But after 20 years of hosting "The Jerry Springer Show" he can handle it.
