"Uncle Frank" Potenza, who passed away Tuesday, was one of the most endearing faces in the cast of characters that populate "Jimmy Kimmel Live." As news of his passing spread yesterday, many expressed their sadness and condolences.
Before moving to Los Angeles to work with his nephew, Potenza had been a New York City cop for 20 years, and a security guard in Las Vegas for 10. But as one of Jimmy Kimmel's sidekicks, he became "Uncle Frank" to the rest of the world. He will be missed.
