The lineup is stacked for Jon Stewart's final week hosting "The Daily Show."

Guests slated to appear on the Comedy Central show include Amy Schumer, Louis C.K. and Denis Leary. They will help send off Stewart ahead of the big Aug. 6 finale. Louis C.K. and Leary are longtime friends of the late-night host and Schumer was offered Stewart's chair on "The Daily Show," though she declined.

“We’re gonna have a ball, and I can’t wait to show my appreciation at all the support and enthusiasm that you guys have given this show all these years, so thank you all so much,” Stewart said during Thursday night's episode of "The Daily Show." "Next week, tune in, it’s gonna be a ball."

The 52-year-old is saying goodbye more than 15 years after taking over as host back in 1999. He confirmed his departure earlier this year.

“Honestly, it was a combination of the limitations of my brain and a format that is geared toward following an increasingly redundant process, which is our political process," he told the Guardian of his decision to leave. “I was just thinking, ‘Are there other ways to skin this cat?’ And, beyond that, it would be nice to be home when my little elves get home from school, occasionally.”

Trevor Noah will replace Stewart as the host Sept. 28.
