Joran Van Der Sloot, Natalee Holloway Murder Suspect, Linked To Prison Stabbings: Report

Natalee Holloway Murder Suspect Reportedly Linked To Prison Stabbings

Murder suspect Joran van der Sloot finds himself once again in the international headlines -- this time for an alleged series of violent jail crimes.

DutchNews.nl cites a report by a local magazine Panorama that says van der Sloot, who is charged with murdering a young Peruvian woman, has stabbed three different people, one of whom required emergency treatment.

The report also says the 23-year-old Dutchman, who is also suspected of involvement in the 2006 disappearance of U.S. teen Natalee Holloway in Aruba, is a heavy drug user in prison. "He has been put into solitary confinement several times, but comes out even more angry," one source is quoted as saying.

Attorney Máximo Altez quickly dismissed the latest allegations against his client. "I have checked this information with the prison director and it has been completely invented," Altez said, adding that van der Sloot wants to turn his life around and has begun going to church.
