Fans of Jordan Peele be warned: There’s nothing funny about his new movie.

The comedian, most well-known for his work on Comedy Central’s hit sketch show “Key & Peele,” is making his directorial debut with the horror film “Get Out,” which he also wrote.

Starring Allison Williams of “Girls” and British actor Daniel Kaluuya of “Sicario” fame, the movie centers around a black man who meets his white girlfriend’s family for the first time. Through what looks like four separate plot twists and a host of crazy characters, Peele presents an unusual way of talking about race in film ― by creating a psychological thriller. That surprising genre piqued Williams’ interest in the project.

“Using horror to talk about racial issues? I really thought that was brilliant,” the actress said earlier this year.

And, since the producers from “Insidious” are behind the film, you know it’s going to be absolutely terrifying.

Look for “Get Out” when it hits theaters February 2017.
