Justin Sayre Puts A Hilarious Twist On Gay Marriage Victories For 'The Meeting'

'Gay Virgins Are Not Hot. That's Not A Hot Thing'

Writer-actor Justin Sayre puts a comedic twist on recent marriage equality victories in his latest clip for HuffPost Gay Voices.

Pointing to gay couples who are now waiting until marriage to consummate their relationships, Sayre jokes, "Gay virgins are not hot. That's not a hot thing." (WARNING: contains graphic language)

He goes on to note, "You would not hire a plumber that just learned pipes. Gay sex is tricky, there's a lot going on!"

Sayre's "International Order of Sodomites" (I.O.S.) gathers once a month for "The Meeting," honoring an artist or a cultural work that is iconic to the gay community. Previous editions have been dedicated to Cher, Karen Carpenter and Stephen King's "Carrie."

He'll perform Nov. 8 at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles and then on Nov. 16 at Joe's Pub in New York.

In other news, "Sparkle & Circulate with Justin Sayre," the official I.O.S. podcast, has just posted its first episode, featuring an interview with journalist Michael Musto.

Meanwhile, you can also view some of Sayre's previous performances on his official YouTube page and check him out on Facebook and Twitter.
