The actress took to Instagram on Sunday to share a snap of herself enjoying a day in the sun with three friends.

The beach trip appeared to be a relaxing break for Heigl, who has been busy filming her upcoming TV show "State of Affairs." In the series, Heigl plays a CIA analyst who works with the president on international security. Catch the premiere on Nov. 17 on NBC.
