Model Katherine Webb Denies Split From Alabama Crimson Quarterback A.J. McCarron

As rumors swirl that model Katherine Webb and her boyfriend, Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback A.J. McCarron, have split up, Webb seemingly warned her fans to take this information with a pinch of salt.

On Friday, the 24-year-old tweeted this message to her 260,000-plus followers:

In a less cryptic announcement, a rep for the model also told RadarOnline that the couple "have not broken up."

"The fact of the matter is Katherine is busy working," the rep said. "And [A.J.] is in the middle of the college football season on the #1 team in America.”

Webb's denial of a breakup comes after Radar published a quote from Webb's mother, who apparently said the couple had parted ways.

"Yes [they've broken up],” Leslie Webb allegedly told RadarOnline. “Katherine’s just trying to stay real busy.”

The site went on to speculate that the couple's relationship had taken a beating in recent months due to rumors about McCarron's infidelity, as well as the duo's hectic schedules.

Webb and McCarron's relationship was thrust into the spotlight earlier this year when the beauty queen was spotted in the stands, rooting for the Crimson Tide during January’s BCS Championship Game.

“That's ... McCarron's girlfriend," said announcer Brent Musburger as the camera lingered on Webb, according to the New York Daily News. "You quarterbacks, you get all the good-looking women. What a beautiful woman. Wow."
