Kris Jenner confronts Caitlyn about their relationship in an upcoming episode of "I Am Cait," saying she feels like she was just a "distraction."
In the teaser shared by E!, a teary-eyed Kris sits in front of Caitlyn while discussing their 22-year marriage, which ended in 2013.
"You're sensitive and amazing to all these new people in your life," she says. "You're just not so sensitive and amazing to the family that you left behind."
"I try to do everything I can -- be nice, reach out," Caitlyn responds. "You have to understand it from my perspective. Be an ally when it comes to dealing with the kids."
But Kris breaks down: "When you feel like you gave your whole life to somebody, and the sum of it all was you were a distraction ..."
Both Khloe and Kim Kardashian confronted Caitlyn about her Vanity Fair profile from the July 2015 issue, in which she candidly discussed her marriage to Kris and what drove them apart. Caitlyn, however, stood by the interview.
"The Vanity Fair article was interesting to do, because it was the first time I ever really had the opportunity to be absolutely truthful with a reporter about every aspect of my life," the 65-year-old said. "It was an honest article, and sometimes when you're honest it can be upsetting to some people."
