Sherrie W. Frontz is the author of When the Morning Comes, and Don’t Look Back two popular books from the Land’s End series. Born in Charotte, North Carolina, she was raised in East Tennessee. As with many authors, Sherrie didn’t major in writing in college. With a degree in accounting she first worked in sales. The work in sales led to a marriage. Sherrie married the love of her life who was her boss and who is the prototype for the sexy male character of Andy in her series.

The Land’s End Series is set on a fictional island off of the coast of northeast North Carolina. The name of her series comes from a road she passed a few years ago, named Land’s End. A picture of the road sign hangs above her writing desk.

Sherrie’s books are a combination of suspense, (her main character gets kidnapped in book one), mystery, and romance. She’s very good at combining all three. The Land’s End series will soon have a book three which is currently in production.

Fittingly, her inspiration for the series comes from her yearly visits to Virginia Beach and Knott’s Island. In fact, Sherrie has a future plan for when her husband retires; spend a great deal of time at the beach and continuing the Land’s End series.

Frontz is a strong believer in “just write.” She doesn’t worry about getting it right the first time, a mistake many new authors make. She gets it written and knows that she can always edit it to her satisfaction later on.

While book one, When Morning Comes sets the scene for the characters of Samantha, Andy, (Samantha’s sheriff husband), and her daughter, Delaney, book two Don’t Look Back introduces a serial killer to the mix. Sherrie Frontz takes to this eagerly winding a story that will have readers anticipating what comes next. The Land’s End series is a good, solid series that satisfies readers from beginning to end.

Kristen Houghton’s new novel, Unrepentant: Pray for Us Sinners, book 3 in her best-selling series, A Cate Harlow Private Investigation has been voted one of the top five novels by International Mystery Writers.

Houghton is the author of nine novels, two non-fiction books, a collection of short stories appearing in anthologies, and a children’s novella.

She is the author of the Horror Writers of America award-winning Welcome to Hell and is hard at work on a new series that features a paranormal investigator with distinct, untried powers of her own.
