MSNBC isn't the only one apologizing over the way it handled Cinco de Mayo — "Good Morning America" co-host Lara Spencer is saying sorry, too.

On Monday morning, Spencer donned a sombrero, picked up a margarita, and announced that it was "Cinco de Drinko," otherwise known as "the biggest day of the year for margarita sales."

Spencer has since apologized for the segment. She tweeted Tuesday, telling ABC News' John Quinones and other critics:

MSNBC also had to apologize on Tuesday after its offensive Cinco de Mayo segment on "Way Too Early."
