LeBron James Photo Used In Ohio Political Attack Mail: Report

LeBron Photo Reportedly Used In Political Attack Ad

An anti-gun group used LeBron James in an attack mail ad aimed at Ohio Democratic Attorney General Richard Cordray, according to Aaron Marshall of the Cleveland The Plain Dealer.

The report says that Americans United for Safe Streets started the mail attack and used James' photo on the cover asking, "Florida took Lebron. What did we get in return?"

On the other side, it reportedly says: "They sent us 92 illegal guns and gun-toting criminals. And Richard Cordray is letting them do it."

The group attacked Cordray because he was said to have "allowed Florida concealed carry gun permits to be accepted in Ohio," even though Ohio's gun laws are stricter.

Marshall wrote that the group is mailing the ad to 175,000 homes.
