Is Lobster Fishing Overregulated?

Lobster, so often seen in fancy restaurants that you forget that it was caught in a trap and sold for under $3 a pound. Or at least that's the case in Maine where arguably the world's best lobsters are caught. Curious about the process, we went out at 4 in the morning to film a day on a lobster boat. There was a gorgeous sunrise, followed by white caps and the very repetitive process of bringing in traps, throwing out the small (or very large) lobsters and keeping the few that were of size. Through this repetition we learned a lot about the lobsterman's perspective on regulation, prices and the draw of the ocean. Watch the video and share your thoughts. Thanks!
