Meg Ryan and daughter Daisy True strolled about in New York's SoHo district Tuesday. The 51-year-old actress wore a hat and shades as she held the hand of her daughter, who was also holding the hand of her nanny.
Ryan adopted Daisy from China in 2005, and told David Letterman that she named her daughter after a month of getting to know her. "It took me a while to get to know her, she was 14 months," she said. "She's a ridiculously happy person, it was the happiest word I could think of."
Ryan also has a 20-year-old son, Jack Quaid, from her marriage with ex-husband Dennis Quaid.
