Michael Avenatti Is ‘Thoroughly Enjoying’ Living ‘Rent-Free’ In Trump’s Head

The lawyer also told MSNBC’s Ari Melber that he has “a hell of a lot more class” than the president.

Michael Avenatti said he is “thoroughly enjoying” living “rent-free” in Donald Trump’s head after the president attacked him as a “lowlife” on Tuesday.

“For Donald Trump to call me a lowlife, he knows nothing about me, knows nothing about the last 20 years of my practice,” Avenatti told MSNBC’s Ari Melber. “I would venture to say that I have a hell of a lot more class than Donald Trump has ever had.”

The lawyer, whose client Julie Swetnick is accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct, said that Trump’s attack on him was “ridiculous.”

In a sworn declaration, Swetnick said she was a “victim of one of these ‘gang’ or ‘train’ rapes where Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh were present” at a party in Washington D.C. in approximately 1982.

Trump referred to the allegations leveled at Kavanaugh, including those made by Swetnick, as a “horrible con game.”

Earlier Wednesday, Trump also tweeted that Avenatti – who also represents Stormy Daniels ― was “third-rate” and “good at making false accusations, like he did on me and like he is doing now on Judge Brett Kavanaugh.”

Avenatti shot back, calling Trump a “habitual liar and complete narcissist who also is a disgrace as a president and an embarrassment to our nation.”

Avenatti said he was eager to do battle with those who doubt Swetnick’s story.

“I’m looking forward to putting her credibility up against people like Donald Trump, Senator [Chuck] Grassley (R-Iowa), Brett Kavanaugh, [Senate Majority Leader] Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), and others,” he told Hill.TV. “All of the privileged white guys that want to come after my client and cast aspersions against her and me.”
