Michael Bastian is one of those big important power player shows in the men's world. Not in the celebrity realm but for those who really love menswear. The top editors and best stylists are all eager to see what Bastian is going to have us wearing in six months.

But today I noticed a lack of luster in the atmosphere, lots of zoning out into outer space or hunched over reading WWD. Dare I say is their already fashion fatigue? I asked several editors what their big party plans were this fifth day of fashion week:

Martin Marks, Paper Magazine: I will be ordering pizza and watching Mad Men.

Jared Flint, Antenna: I'm ordering Thai food and curling up on my couch!

Andreas Kokkino, The New York Times: I can't wait to go home and watch True Blood on the couch.

Tim Blanks, GQ.com: I can't go out I am swamped! I just hope to enjoy a nice dinner at my hotel and a quick file before bed.

Yes, it's true. The boys may be blah tonight (Sorry Visionaire Party!) But they certainly swelled up when the Bastian show began.

This season he was inspired by the deep sea. There were scuba divers knitted onto jumpers and embroidered on v-neck sweaters as well as full on neoprene scuba tops. Collab flip-flops with Havianas as well as IWC Aquatimer Automatic watches kept the season salty. His suiting is always handsome yet sporty (hence the pushed up sleeves of the blazer, more for a quick game of football than in ode to Miami Vice). And much to my delight and surprise there was a heavy dose of leopard, which readers know I am obsessed with.

I rarely have a bad thing to say about Bastian except that I simply can't afford it.
