Michele Bachmann Responds To Miley Cyrus SNL Parody: 'I've Never Done Twerking'

Bachmann: 'I've Never Done Twerking'

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) reacted to Miley Cyrus' impersonation of her on last week's "Saturday Night Live," laughing off the parody while insisting she's never "done twerking" before.

In "We Did Stop (The Government)," a take on the pop singer's hit "We Can't Stop," Cyrus portrayed Bachmann while SNL's Taran Killam played House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio).

Speaking on a TheTeaParty.net conference call on Monday, Bachmann said she didn't take the parody personally.

"I have a good sense of humor.. I've probably been lampooned six or seven times on 'Saturday Night Live,'" she said.

According to Bachmann, she was approached by several people who thought it was actually her in the 'SNL' skit.

"I've never done twerking in my life and I don't intend to take it up," she said.
