
Mike Huckabee, former Arkansas Gov. (R) and two-time GOP presidential candidate, is not good at Twitter. In fact, “not good” is an understatement. He is terrible at it — especially when he’s trying to be funny.
For instance, when CNN reported that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had to hold back tears due to the mean-spirited nature of President Donald Trump’s executive order that banned Syrian refugees and nationals from several Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S., Huckabee tweeted this transphobic gem:
And when Hillary Clinton said half of Trump’s supporters belong in a “basket of deplorables” during the 2016 presidential campaign, Huckabee busted out this sweet rhyme:
And on Tuesday, while following the hearing for Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch, Huckabee decided to tweet a few zingers aimed at those who were questioning the judge:
