MISTER Gay Social Network App Announces iamMISTER Awards

Vote For Your Faves -- Including HP Gay Voices -- In The #iamMISTER Awards!

The options that gay men have for location-based social networking apps have greatly expanded in the past couple of years.

Not only is there Grindr, but also newer favorites such as Scruff and now MISTER, which rebranded itself earlier this summer as a more integrity-driven destination for men to find other men.

Aside from MISTER's relaunch, the app has now announced its first #iamMISTER Awards, which will spotlight the best in the gay community as chosen by the MISTER community of users.

There are many categories for members to vote on, such as their favorite gay public figure, advocacy group, recording artist, and also best gay news outlet (which Gay Voices is nominated for!) and voting is open until October 15.

Javiar Cobo, the marketing director for MISTER, voiced the importance of the awards by saying, “We built an app to improve the way guys meet online. With the awards, we want to commend the people and organizations who are doing that in other areas of gay life. ”
