Mitt Romney Ad Attacks Obama For Negative Ads

Romney Attacks Obama For Negative Ads With Negative Ad Of His Own

The Mitt Romney campaign released a new television ad Sunday using the words of pundits and journalists to knock President Barack Obama for running negative ads.

“[W]hen the president was elected, he talked about hope and change," CBS's Bob Schieffer says in the first clip. "Whatever happened to hope and change? Now it seems he’s just coming right out of the box with these old-fashioned, negative ads."

David Brooks of The New York Times and Mark Halperin of TIME appear in the ad in clips from tv appearances, also talking about the Obama campaign's advertising.

The Romney ad comes a day after the Obama campaign released a video attacking Romney's record at Bain Capital, set to the tune of the candidate singing "America the Beautiful."
