Police Using Facebook To Track Down MSU Partiers After East Lansing Couch Fires (PHOTOS)

After a civil disturbance following the Michigan State University Spartans' victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes resulted in 57 fires, property damage and at least 15 arrests, police in East Lansing, Mich. have taken to social media to track down the remaining wrongdoers.

The No. 10-ranked Spartans defeated Ohio State, ranked No. 2, 34-24, earning the Spartans a prized trip to the Rose Bowl. That night, more than 1000 people took to the streets of the Cedar Village area, many setting fires to couches, mattresses and other items. The city of East Lansing said the crowd threw beer cans and rocks at cops on the scene. The disturbance was broken up by police around 3 a.m., according to the Lansing State Journal.

The police department in East Lansing, where MSU is located, uploaded a photo gallery of fans they are trying to identify. They're offering rewards for information and say they have a system in place to protect the anonymity of those who come forward.

"The rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of these individuals will be on a case-by-case basis and depend on the information given and type of crime," East Lansing Police wrote. "The rewards will generally range from $100 to $500 and will be determined after the investigation is complete. One reward per case."

All in all, the university and the city of East Lansing have pledged $20,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the disturbance.

Facebook commenters have proposed suggestions for the police -- actor Seth Rogan, U2's Bono and even Jesus Christ were among those (sarcastically) identified by Facebookers.
