Nancy Drew Finally Has Her Own Board Game, Thanks To This Mystery-Loving Teen

Your Favorite Detective Finally Has Her Own Board Game, Thanks To One Teen

Sixteen-year-old Quincy MacShane of Concord, Mass. is such a big Nancy Drew fan that she designed a trivia board game in honor of the teenage detective. Now, Quincy wants to bring her board game to Nancy Drew lovers everywhere, according to the Boston Herald.

The teen created a Kickstarter fundraiser to help produce "The Nancy Drew Board Game." She has until Oct. 26 to meet her $20,000 goal. As of Oct. 13, she was over halfway there.

The process of designing her board game has been intensive. Quincy had to start her own board game company and obtain licensing rights to the Nancy Drew series, according to her Kickstarter page. Now that she's completed the game, she writes, “I hope to help a new generation of girls -- and boys -- rediscover Nancy and learn about the series."

If Quincy meets her Kickstarter goal, she says she'll be able to bring her game to the market for the 2014 holiday season.
