NASA Wants To Grow Potatoes On Mars

Scientists are researching ways to grow 65 different kinds of spuds.

NASA is taking a page out of "The Martian's" playbook and is researching ways to grow potatoes on Mars. The starchy spud is not just a good source of carbohydrates but potatoes can also adapt to different climates and be a source of power. Watch the video above to learn more about NASA's mission.
