Footage released by the FBI on Wednesday shows Aaron Alexis walking with a shotgun through the Washington Navy Yard moments before he killed 12 people.
Alexis can be seen holding a Remington 870 as he makes his way through the corridors of Building 197, still wearing a badge around his neck and by his waist. Authorities say that Alexis had "legitimate access" to the Navy Yard as a result of his status as a contractor.
