A Netflix spokesperson said the streaming service was in “discussions” to make a show about Prince’s Paisley Park compound before the artist’s death this past April, The Associated Press reported Sunday.

Though the show didn’t “come to fruition,” we’re sure it would’ve been full of magical Prince revelations and wild stories about every nook and cranny of the mansion, located in Minnesota.

In a recent GQ interview with a group of the late artist’s friends, photographer Maya Washington spoke about the Netflix show and what could’ve been.

He was supposed to do something with Netflix, a reality show on Paisley Park. He’s, “Why don’t you help me?” I’m, “I’d love to, but you’d have to be in it.” And he’s, “No, no, no, I’m not in it.” I’m, “Why not? You’re so funny—why don’t you want anyone to see your sense of humor?” And he would shut it down: “Maya, I can’t be funny. I have to save the world.”

Aside from the nonexistent Netflix show, director/actor Kevin Smith has said he has an unreleased documentary he made with Prince — one we hope will see the light of day.
