Hey Republicans, did you know today was the New York primary? Of course you did!
Experts say Tuesday's battle for New York's 95 delegates between Mitt Romney and the other guys will prove to be nothing less than riveting, a real squeaker.
But really -- turnout is expected to be very low, as Mitt Romney is the clear presumptive winner in not only Tuesday's five states, but as the party nominee.
Manhattan Republican Chairman Daniel Isaacs told NY1 that "Even though the race is effectively over at this point, I still think you'll see people get out and vote."
The New York primary is generally an afterthought because the GOP usually knows its candidates before we get to vote on them. An op-ed in the New York Times Sunday highlighted the alternatives in the race.
"Republicans could have done a lot worse than Mitt Romney," wrote the Times. Putting it less lightly: "The only other remaining candidates are terrible choices."
On Monday Rudy Giuliani finally got involved and put his support behind Romney. Of course when they were running against each other in 2007, the story was slightly different.

It was Giuliani who first attacked Romney in a debate for hiring undocumented immigrants as landscapers. When Romney called New York a “sanctuary city,” Giuliani shot back that Romney lived in a “sanctuary mansion.” In another debate, Romney called Giuliani “a big spender from the big city.” Giuliani retorted that “I led. He lagged.” Romney called that “baloney.”
In December Giuliani also accused Romney of serial flip-flopping. "I ran against him in '07 and '08 [and] I’ve never seen a guy change his position so many times, so fast, on a dime."
