Nora Ephron Remembered By Arianna Huffington On 'Morning Joe' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Arianna Remembers Nora Ephron On 'Morning Joe'

Arianna on Wednesday appeared on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" talk show to remember her friend Nora Ephron, the beloved screenwriter, director, author and editor-at-large of The Huffington Post's Divorce section. Ephron died of pneumonia Tuesday at age 71 after battling leukemia.

After "Morning Joe" co-host and mutual friend Mika Brzezinski commented, "I can't think of funnier, better advice I got about life than from Nora Ephron," Arianna recalled Ephron's vivacity, wit and insight.

"How many people can you say that about, that they capture so many aspects of life, and of our hearts?" Arianna asked.

The Huffington Post Media Group's president and editor-in-chief also recalled how Ephron connected with other women. "It felt like a girlfriend had died," Arianna said. "And there were so many women who felt that... If there were Oscar nominations for friendship, she would have had a shelf full."
