'NY Ink': Pretty Things Peepshow Traveling Vaudeville Troupe Gives A Quick Show (VIDEO)

'NY Ink' Tattoos Traveling Vaudeville Troupe

Absolutely anything can -- and probably eventually will -- happen in New York City, but that doesn't mean Ami and the crew at "NY Ink" (Thu., 9 p.m. EST on TLC) were at all prepared for what walked through their door on this week's installment. "They look like a gang of misfits," he said of the performing troupe.

Go Go Amy introduced herself as the founder, producer and burlesque dancer of this traveling vaudeville show called the Pretty Things Peepshow. "Half burlesque, half sideshow," she smiled. They were such a unique bunch, that Ami called the whole team up to meet them.

And then they got an impromptu show, with each of the troupe members showcasing what they bring to the performances. Amy did a little bit of her burlesque dancing. Ami later listed the eclectic things they witnessed. "A guy that nails nails into his nose, a little person that got out of a restraining jacket," he said. "A young lady swallows swords."

That last one got some attention from the boys in the shop, but it didn't appear to be anything new to her. When one of the guys shouted for her number, she was quick with a retort. "Get in line."

The reason the whole gang was there, was they were looking to get some fresh "show tattoos" for their next big tour. That's a feat the gang at the tattoo shop can manage without breaking a sweat!

You never know who'll walk in on "NY Ink," Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
