For the first time since the 2012 election, President Barack Obama is heading back to Northern California.

The President will be in town April 3-4 for a series of fundraising events for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. The visit will mark his first fundraiser for next year's midterm election.

The visit is the kickoff to Obama's aggressive campaign to regain control of the House of Representatives and maintain control of the Senate. It should thus come as no surprise that Nancy Pelosi will reportedly be in attendance at next week's events.

"I would expect that Nancy Pelosi is going to be Speaker again pretty soon," he told House Democrats at a party retreat last month.

So what's on the docket for the upcoming POTUS trip? Dinner with Alice Waters and Tyler Florence? A concert with Michael Franti?

While the post-election itinerary hardly has the shine of the President's previous trips, the reports still leave plenty to get excited about, leading some to make predictions about the future party hopefuls.
